  • Seth Josephson

    MUD LOTUS CO-FOUNDER

    Seth Josephson is a second-generation Buddhist and has been practicing Zen meditation his whole adult life. He holds a Ph.D. in comparative cultural studies from Ohio State University with a focus on religion, science & technology, and critical animal studies. He has been leading meditation sessions since 2011 and cofounded Mud Lotus Sangha with Sara Provenzale in 2016. Seth is a musician and DJ under the name Seth Fossils, and a published poet. 

    Seth currently facilitates the Thursday morning meditation.

  • Amy Kisei, Sensei

    ZEN TEACHER

    Amy Kisei, Sensei (they/she) is an authorized Zen Buddhist Teacher and Priest in the Soto Zen Lineage. Kisei trained as a full-time monastic for 12 years at Great Vow Zen Monastery. They also practice IFS -informed Spiritual Counseling, Somatics and Astrology.

    In addition to offering 1:1 counseling, Kisei leads retreats, workshops and classes on Zen, Dreamwork and Somatics. Kisei also enjoys making visual art and exploring the forests of Ohio for mushrooms.

  • Patrick Kennyo Dunn

    ZEN PRIEST

    Patrick Kennyo Dunn is a Zen Buddhist priest with nine years of monastic immersion; collaborative mandalic researcher and writer; explorer of interstitial, uncertain, and anomalous zones of living spirituality; kaleidoscopic anarchist-in-the-bardo. Patrick is currently completing a Ph.D in Comparative Studies at Ohio State, where he focuses on gnostic, esoteric, and mystical religions and their influence on modern culture.

  • Sheila Jacquart

    ONLINE MEDITATION TEACHER

    Sheila Jacquart is of French descent and has practiced and studied Buddhism & varying forms of meditation for 16 years. She leads guided relaxation & body awareness as a form of meditation as well as to facilitate deeper individual meditation  To schedule a session for individuals or groups , email Sheila @ fuschya08@yahoo.com

    Sheila also has many interests, including nature walks, baking, handcrafting soap & other body products, photography & travel.

    She has a desire to build community based on inclusion, openness/sharing and a search for peace in ourselves and the world. She believes in the power of embodying loving-kindness in whatever one does.
